Jet Boat Tours in Hells Canyon

This 70 mile round trip tour takes you down stream on the Snake River to the confluences of the Imnaha and Salmon Rivers. We stop at Dug Bar and see the Historical Nez Perce  Crossing. You will see exotic rock formations, wildlife and beautiful scenery.

We have lunch along the riverside, take a dip or swim and continue downstream to the confluence of the Salmon River. This tour includes lunch, beverages and great memories of fun in Hells Canyon. You will want to bring your cameras, sunscreen, shorts or swim suits, and a towel.

Morning of the tour – directions and information you will need:

Optional Shuttle fee to Marina – $20.00 per person for the round trip. Reservations required.

If you are not staying with us the night before the tour, you will need the following information:

Day of Tour:   Arrive at office in White Bird by 8:45 a.m PDT (Pacific Day Light Time)

Directions to office: 

Take the White Bird Exit off of U. S. Hwy 95. This will take you to the only stop sign in the center of town. Take a left at the stop sign and go one mile SW on Old Hwy 95 along White Bird Creek.  You will see our signs that say “Killgore Adventures & Hells Canyon Jet Boat Trips & Lodging”.  Our office and motel facilities are on the right side.

We will have you sign a release form and give you directions to the Marina or you can board the shuttle. You will drive another 17 miles to the Marine and the departure point for the Wild River Tour through the Wilderness in Hells Canyon’s Wild River section. This drive will take about 45 minutes. It is a very pretty scenic drive and you may see wildlife along the way. It is graveled most the way but is suitable for two wheel drive passenger cars. Restrooms available at the office, the marina, and the stops we make on the tour.

We are on Pacific Day Light Time (PDT) – The time zone changes to mountain time at Riggins, only 28 miles South of White Bird….Mountain Time is (1) one  hour ahead of PDT.
