This private charter school takes an annual historical and geological field trip up the Snake River in Hells Canyon. All the students thoroughly enjoy the jet boat ride through the rapids. Killgore Adventures drops them off at Sheep Creek and the group spends three or four days hiking back to Pittsburgh Landing, camping along the way. Then they’ll head over to Killgore Adventures campground on the Salmon River and enjoy a home-cooked meal by our staff while they camp by our private beach.

Genesee High School Class of 2013 Senior Sneak Hells Canyon Jet Boat Tour

Hailey Johnson, Senior Class President of Genesee High School, organized a Senior Sneak with a Jet Boat Tour in Hells Canyon with Killgore Adventures. They ran all the big rapids and saw the deepest part of the canyon as well as landed a 7 ft Sturgeon. They had a great time aboard Hornstar, Killgore Adventures new 30 ft twin engine jet boat.

The Salmon River conditions are just about right to begin our rare, but exciting Loop Tour! This tour starts at Pittsburgh Landing on the Snake River in Hells Canyon and loops around to the Salmon River into White Bird, where it ends at Killgore Adventures private beach. See the beautiful and scenic Hells Canyon as well as the Blue Canyon, Snow Hole Canyon and the Green Canyon of the Salmon River. It’s two tours in one!

Spring is here and the Hells Canyon Tour and Fishing Season has started! Killgore Adventures has taken several fishing trips already this last month and caught several Sturgeon, lots of trout and a boatload of catfish! The water temperature is coming up and the bass fishing will be getting good soon on the Snake River!

It has been absolutely beautiful in Hells Canyon as well as on the Salmon River, the grass is greening up and everything is blooming out. We have Snake River Hells Canyon Wild River Tours going in April and May already. It’s a beautiful time to take a tour with us! Hope to see you soon!

The Hells Canyon Wild River jet boat tour is a very grand canyon tour by Jet Boat with Killgore Adventures in North Central Idaho. April and May tours will be running several days this spring. The 4thAnnual Idaho Hells Canyon ATV Ride, presented by Harold Morris and Killgore Adventures, is set for Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-27, 2013! Three rides will be put on throughout the weekend including rides into Kirkwood Historical Ranch, Big Canyon, and the 3rd ride will soon be announced. Headquarters will be at Killgore Adventures RV Park & Motel along the beautiful Salmon River in White Bird, Idaho! RV Spaces, Tent Camping, & Lodging are also available for convenient accommodations.
